We are excited to announce that Courtyard Country Inn has recently undergone a change in ownership!
We want to assure our valued guests that all reservations made prior to this transition are still intact and do not require any confirmation calls. All guests will now receive emails and texts regarding their reservation beginning the day before check-in. Please watch your emails for information from Cloudbeds and Courtyard Country Inn.
As we navigate through this period of change and during our busy high season, we kindly request your patience and understanding. What We Don't Have:
We do not have a Reception Office or in-person check-in. The property has been improved for comfortable self service, but we do maintain daily housekeeping staff. Please message us via the text chats or emails if we may make your stay more comfortable.
We do not have a large ice machine on the property. We do have a small ice machine available. Please use the mini fridges to cool drinks, food, or medicine, but please bring a cooler and purchase a bag of ice prior to your arrival if you require large quantities of ice.. We are working diligently to begin providing amenities that have not been provided for the last 20 years and hope we can have ice for all very soon!
Although each room has small Smart TVs, even us tech savvy new owners have had trouble operating them despite detailed instructions left by the previous owner. We are working on a solution to provide better in room entertainment options for your relaxing trip to Westcliffe (because sometimes you just want to veg out and watch TV). The TVs offer apps that you can log into with your own logins and a few FREE app options like VUDU, ROKU Channel, ABC News and CBS News. If there are TV issues, be prepared to have to talk to the person you are traveling with, going outside and enjoying our courtyard, or even reading a book/magazine. We hope to find a better solution to in room entertainment very soon.
We do not have air conditioners. Our rooms stay at a comfortable temperature during the day due to our cool nights in the 50s Fahrenheit, even in peak summer. All of our rooms have fans and we can provide extra fans if needed. The inn has operated without ACs for 30 or more years with thousands of guests during summer and this is rarely an issue. Please note that no refunds will be issued due to no ACs in the room.
What We Do Have:
Our rooms are equipped with essential amenities including microwaves, minifridges, hairdryers, and coffeemakers, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay.
Our coffeemakers are Farberware individual cup coffeemakers that brew Keurig Cups (K-cups).
We understand that life happens and plans change. We believe we have a very reasonable cancelation policy that we strictly adhere to.
No charge if canceled 7 days or more prior to scheduled date of arrival.
Partial Charge - 25% of Full Stay - If canceled within 2-7 days of arrival date.
Full Charge – 100% of Full Stay - If canceled within 48 hours of check-in time of arrival date.
The way we deliver housekeeping service is evolving.
We offer full housekeeping services if you have booked a stay longer than 4 nights. In lieu of daily full housekeeping services, we provide daily refresh services. Regardless of the duration of your stay, you can always send a text to our chat by 11am to request a full housekeeping service. You can chat with us in the same text chat that will be started the day before you check-in.
We absolutely adore our four-legged friends, and we welcome well-behaved dogs to stay with their humans at our cozy inn. However, we regret to inform you that we are unable to accommodate cats or other types of animals at this time. We kindly ask for your understanding in this matter.

You will notice a beautiful leather keychain, handmade by a long time friend of the innkeeper. These were made in hopes of making it a bit easier to keep track of your room key. In cases of lost keys, we do have to charge a $50 lost key fee for time and materials to replace the lost key and keychain.
Please take care to secure your key at all times, but especially when hiking, exploring, or night sky gazing as these are the most common activities when keys are lost.
Check-in is at 3:00pm Westcliffe time.
Check-out is at 11:00am Westcliffe time.
Please contact us for availability of early check-in. Early check-ins before 3:00pm and after 12:00pm is $50. Early check-in before 12:00pm is a full night charge and the night before will be reserved for you.
Please contact us for availability of late check out. Checkouts after 12:00pm and before 2:00pm is $50. Checkouts after 2:00pm is an additional night charge plus any convenience fees if additional reservations are impacted by your late check out.
The Courtyard Country Inn in Westcliffe, CO is proud to offer onsite electric vehicle charging facilities, catering to the needs of environmentally conscious travelers. Visitors can conveniently recharge their electric vehicles while enjoying the serene ambiance of our beautiful courtyard.
Level 2 Rivian chargers are available and can be compatible with other EVs, but please refer to your vehicle apps and manuals to confirm compatibility. EV chargers cost are as follows:

Located centrally in Westcliffe, our inn provides a perfect base for exploring the scenic surroundings while ensuring a sustainable and enjoyable stay for our guests.
Lockouts happen. Especially since we still have lock and key doors. Please be aware that a lockout may take up to 30 minutes to resolve, depending on the time of day of the lockout. We typically have staff minutes away, but on rare occasions, it may take longer to get someone to you. Please try to remember your key when in and out of your room.
We prioritize delivering exceptional value and service to our customers. To maintain our commitment to fairness and transparency, we have implemented a strict policy of no discounts. This means that we do not offer senior citizen discounts, AAA discounts, or any other form of price reduction. Our prices in the Westcliffe area are already some of the lowest, ensuring that all customers receive the same fair and competitive pricing. Special promotions will be listed on our website and social media accounts.
